First we start off with Lobster Sashimi. Honestly, not that much to eat coming from one tail. It was definitely unique. Wouldn't know the different if you ask me.
There's the rest of the lobster - tapayakki Style. It was actually quite tasty. Lobster was kind of small though. But I guess what can you expect with a $20 dinner.
Next came the pot of soup and some tempura. Hot soup always goes well with cold winter night and tempura - Fried anything is always good in my book.
We ordered a 3 plates of lamb rack, 2 plates of rib-eye steak and a plate of salmon. Didn't take any pictures of the cooked food but took what's left on the plate - which is pretty much nothing!
The Lamb rack was not bad - they used rosemary sauce and cooked as requested (which is medium rare). The one thing I like about their western dishes is that they actually put salt into the meat. Some Chinese/Western restaurants I've been really waste the meat with no taste - Dogs won't even want to eat it.
Next come dessert - ice-cream or 'Dang Dai' (aka Steamed egg custard). I didn't have any green-tea ice-cream but my boy enjoyed it. The "DD" was not bad - cold though. wished it was warm.
Overall, I would sum up this meal as 'Cheap' and 'Decent'. We didn't ordered anything else but the rest of their menu has the usual Jap food - Red dragon roll, soft-shell crab roll, bento box.. and etc..
It was good to see everyone. I think everyone enjoyed their big meal.
