Mother's Dumplings

**Restaurant Updates**

I wrote about this 'hole in the wall' restaurant a little over a year ago and we've been back there for numerous occasions.  Recently we came across an article on the newspaper saying they have moved to a new location.   Their new place is now bigger and locate on the main stripe of Toronto Chinatown; which means more business and profits.

According to Chowhound.com (North America version of Openrice), many people are still supporting this restaurant but a lot of people are also complaining that many items on the menu are often 'sold out' by dinner time.  Since I've moved out of downtown, I most likely will not be visitng here for awhile. I truly hope the owner will find a solution to this big problem and continue to build up their business.  They might not want to hire new 'see fui' in case the family's dumpling secret might leak out but gosh there is nothing worse than looking forward to your favourite dumplings and being told you can't have any because we didn't make enough for tonight.

New Address: 421 Spadina Ave.

**Aside: Someone on Chowhound mentioned there is a new dumpling place opened at the old Mother's address.  Interesting how many new dumpling places are popping up everywhere like little mushrooms**
