Lo Sai "真好人"

Not too often would you hear someone tells you their boss is kind of cool and nice to work with.  Well I have been lucky enough to have experience not one but two good bosses; my last boss and my current boss.

I worked with my last boss for a little over 3 years before deciding to jump ship to another department.  During my farewell lunch, he said something that I will always remember "xxx, you have been a pleasure to work with ... and I don't think I'll ever find someone that do as good job as you".  Where can you find such a nice 'Lo Sai' who would say such nice things infront of everyone in the team.  On top of that, he even got me a present.

Yup, Tiffany ah!!!!  Thinking back, I honestly cannot be more lucky to have the chance to work with him!

So now switching to my current boss... although we've been working with each other for less than 2 months, but she reminds me a lot of my old boss.  Laid back, no macro-manage, joke with you, praise you for your good work, etc..  Seriously knock on wood, I hope to be continue on her good side.  I once told myself (and everyone in the world) that I would not want to work for a woman ~ everythough I am a woman myself.  Woman generally are more 'bitchy' and strict.  But guess I should 'eat my word' now b/c not only is my direct boss is a woman, even her boss is also a woman too!!!

So this afternoon, my boss was working at a different location. She calls me to 'touch base' and also told me to leave work early so I can start enjoying my weekend.  Her reasoning was because I have been doing a great job, blah blah blah.. Honestly, I think they know I've been doing some OT and they don't want to pay me - haha.

To all you 'Da Goh Chai', I wish you also have a good 'Lo Sai'!
