Movie Twlight

I did something last night that was very 'unlike' me.

I watched a movie after dinner.  And the kicker is that I watched the teen/tween version of the greatest love movie ever made on this face of the earth - Twilight.

So what's my conclusion?  It was actually pretty good.  I felt the connection between Bella and Edward on screen.  It must have been those icy eyes and the ghost/white powder look.  Who wouldn't fall in love with someone who would take you to the top of a tree and protect you from being hit from a car : )

Twilight has been pheonomino with teens and tweens.  Girls are obsessed with Edward and the actor who plays him, Robert Pattinson along with Jacob - Taylor Lutner.  I must say Robert P. indeed is a very handsome looking guy.  His jaw lines are perfect - no wonder he was a model la!

Here are some fact about our society as a result of this movie which you might find it interesting.

HarperCollins - publisher for many classic novel, including Bella and Edward's favourite novel - Wuthering Heights decided to redesign the classic's cover page to attract new audiences.  The new design is similar to the Twilight novel series cover - a single point of focus with a black background.  You don't think they don't know how to jump on the bandwagon and cash in as much as they can eh?

So you know that ghostly look that's 'caked' on Bella and the entire Cullen family.  Well many cosmetic companies are also riding this $ wave and came out with their 'Twilight inspired' makeup line.

Twilightbeauty.com  - two lines.  Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight.

The above is the Luna Twilight - it comes with various eye shadow colours with cute Twilight characters' names.  ie. Bella, Rsaline, Alice, and Victoria.  They also has body glow and creme too.
