Thank M小姐 (not the b-day girl) for organizing and making the reservation.
Must warn any readers, this restaurant has no sign. It just has a big nose hanging in front of the place. Everyone (yes, I mean Everyone) kept walking/driving past by this restaurant which is quite annoying IMO. When you walk into this place, you will wonder did the owner bother decorating it at all? The answer is 'No.' My kai-bro explained 'it's all about the food, who cares about the decor.' He is right though - the food is amazing. The group ordered appetizers - Fritti Misto, Scotty's meatball (It should be call Scotty's Baseball), Capaccio and Veggie Platter. My bf and I decided to share our entrees.
We ordered the Involtini - The shredded pork was so tasty and wrapped around with a thin rib eye. It looks like 3 mini sausages but packed with lots of pork. I wasn't too fancy of the goat cheese so didn't appreciate that at all.
Pasta - Linguini tossed with Pesto and Pine nuts. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was just enough to covered the pasta. Very Yummy!
We also ordered 2 bottles of wine. The cost came around to $50 per person, that includes treating for four persons. (Ms. LY & Ms M and their bfs - don't get me started on treating the bfs thing) I'd definitely come back with the bf again. The one thing I'd do is request for a reservation in the private room instead. The place was BLASTING with loud music the whole night so I was particularly yelling to talk to my friends :(
