Today has been a crazy day. Last night I attended our work X'mas party function at Montana on John & Richmond. The venue essentially is really Montana Restaurant & Bar, except you have to go through a different set of doors. But overall the party was fantastic, it was by far one of the best work event/party I've attended. Originally I was planning to wear my casual clothes (as per the function email) but my co-worker talked me into wearing a dress instead. So I went home, changed and got to the party at around 6:30pm.
This year is a little different from any previous party. Even the invitaton was done differently. It's a flash video using the 007 theme. The company recently went through a M&A so this was a 'bonding' event for both firms. I must say the party committee did a very clever thing. What better way to get two groups of people(well more like strangers) together and make sure they have a good time. The answers would be food, drinks and gambling. They had Blackjack tables, spin the wheel and of course the ultimate poker event of this century - Texas Holdem. Although it was all fake money people were playing with but you can feel the intensity at the poker table. Everyone was doing the 'don't look around' face.
The party room was big and it fitted everyone comfortably.
They even had a small tatoo area where you can get 007 theme tatoos.
Mine was a Martini [Bondtini]. Not bad, it's been 2 days and it hasn't smughed at all.
At the end of the night, they were giving out door prizes.
Yours truly won an ipod shuffle. I never win anything in these events.
The night was awesome, went to an after party across the street with some coworkers. Didn't go home and hit the sack until 1am. But it was fun, so who cares right?

多倫多落雪未?
It snowed a lot already. Luckily it's melted quite a bit in downtown.
