I was so lazy this weekend. My boy on the other hand was more energetic and productive than I was.
Originally, I had plan to finish some work stuff at home and clean up the backyard. But things definitely did not go according to plan when I turned my laptop on.
Instead, I watched numerious episodes of season 3 of The Tudors and the first episode of season 4. Follow by my favourite adoptation of Sherlock Holmes - Season 1 by BBC.
The Tudors is an extremely (IMO) provocative show on CBC. There are numerous nudity and violence scenes- (Just picture the disclaimer at the beginning of the PG 18 movies). But what attracts me to the show is their ability to capture the essence of King Henry VIII and his many wives. Each Season is roughly 10 episodes and it showcases 2 wives with a wive usually overlapping into the other season. So far, Season 1 is by far my favourite one. It had Katherine the Aragon and Anne Boleyn. The beginning of Season 2 and 3 was pretty good but then it got really boring towards the end.
Sherlock Homes - I LOVE this version. I used to follow this series on BBC religiously every week. And now I get to watch this whenever I want. Although I don't know how to play the violin but this violin score will always be embedded in my brain and be forever know as 'The' Sherlock Holmes.
