CB2

Crate & Barrel is a popular American home furniture store.  They sell lots of neat, beautiful, modern furnitures and accessories.  Do you remember an episode in Friends where Rachel was looking to buy a piece of living room furniture in the apartment she share with Phoebe?  I believe she got her cabinet from CB : )

I really like the stuff in CB - the only thing I don't like is their price - so expensive.

So I was quite happy when I saw CB has a sister store called CB2.  AND they are coming to Canada at Queen + Bathurst in early 2011 too!

CB2 stuff are more youthful and definitely cheaper than the parent company.  On their website, they have an online catalogue which remains me of the one I get from Ikea. (I kept the one from 2008 and plan to keep the 2010 catalogue too.  Wish I know what I did with the 2009 version though.....)

I really like the sofa colour and the lamp.  The picture even has the same colour flooring as my home.  Perfect!  The one thing I don't like is the use of the accent colour.  Green looks good here but won't match with my room.  I am going to change it to blue instead.

All in all, their stuff is still not as cheap as Ikea though.  Last night I went to Ikea, exchanged my broken bedside table, and picked up 2 bathroom mirrors for $40 each.  Oh, I Love Ikea!  I still got more things to get from there : )  One week at a time - haha!
