Last Night, we had a wonderful meal at this 'unique' name restaurant. We actually come here quite often whenever bf's parents invite folks for dinner. We had a free Chicken dish and also free cripsy pork dish :) They were free because we won them at the parent's office X'mas dinner la.
The picture above shows you a very BIG lobster dish. Take a closer look at that lobster head. It's about the size of my palm! The dish on top of the lobster dish is actually battered shrimp with fried 'Little fish' and other very hot yet yummy spicies! The spicies were AMAZING with the rice dish that's above the shrimp dish. (haha.. don't mind my bad description). The rice dish is not your normal fried rice. It uses sticky rice instead. So basically it's sticky rice you'd get from Yum Cha/Dim Sum but it's lightly fried with oil and the portion is definitely a lot more bigger and IMO yummier as well!
We were surprised the restaurant was quite full for Sunday dinner. There were several events going on at the same time which as a result, they had to block off several areas for them. We actually got seated very close to the door. BUT they had nice dividers so no one really bothered us. The dinner was quick. It took only 1.5hr - got home really early!
But since we were barely at home on Sunday, so going home early actually turned out really well for us. We did some chores; cleaning the bathroom, doing a load of laundry and even found time to steam (no.. we don't use an iron) our shirts! All these things were done in 2hrs time. I was very impressive.
