Love you till Death due as part...

Western Valentine's day happened over the weekend. Happy Valentine's Day.

Wonder if my readers did any celebrations? My bf did celebrate it with a nice meal at Famous People Player followed by a play. I'd usually write about my experience of the meal and also the event. But instead I am going to skip my usual comment and instead write about an article that I found on Yahoo! which is very much related to the 'Love'ly weekend.

A note on the side: Although the event took place back in December but was only reported by local media yesterday.

According to the Shanghai Newspaper, a 29 year old mistress of a Chinese Tycoon decided to end her life, the life of the Tycoon's and also his 4 other mistresses during a group outing after she was told by the Tycoon that he no longer wants her as his mistress anymore.

This would have been a tragic event indeed if everyone died. But this story had an interesting twist. You see; those who was intended to died was only hosipitalized but those who was NOT supposed to did end up dead. The innocent person who died in this bizzarre event were the driver who took them out for the ride and the mistress herself.

The Story goes like this....

This Crazy Mistress met her lover (the Tycoon) at the restaurant she worked at in 2000. Tycoon later introduced her to his 4 other mistresses (let's name them Mis. #1, #2, #3 and #4). Each of the mistresses receives monthly allowance and a rent-free apartment.

Due to the economic downturn, our Tycoon decided to let his mistresses go to keep his expense low. However he decided to have a beauty contest juded by a modelling instructor on his 5 mistresses to determine which one lucky mistress would get to remain with him. But he withheld his intent from his lovers during the contest, only did they find out in the end that he was letting the lossers go and they were getting kicked out from their apartments.

Our Crazy Mis. was the first to go during the first round beauty contest, the eventual winner won the event after dominating the drinking contest. (Sounds like fun)

So the Crazy Mis. took her revenge on the Tycoon and his mistresses when they all went out with the driver. My guess is she wanted to take her life along with other people's life because since she can't be with him, they also cannot be with him too!

In the end, the Tycoon paid the crazy mist's parents a sum of money as his compensation for their daughter's loss. His other mistresses (Mis. #1-#4) left him and his wife divorced him because of his affairs.

This story teaches a moral and that is. Don't cheat on your wife. If you want to get a mistress, do it in style. Do it like Stanley Ho; publicly acknowledge your mistresses and make sure you give them plenty of money to keep them happy and by your side at all time :) Don't ever think of taking anything back.
