The City

I cannot NOT write in my blog anymore. I've been holding back because of my laziness in uploading my pictures from my past events over the last several weeks. So I'm going to write something new and share it with my readers.

Do any of you watch one of the most guilty pleasure show - The Hills? (IMO, the MOST guilty pleasure show has got to be Gossip Girl la! - see previous entry) The Hills is a reality show, which means the story is not scripted. Each character on the show is real and they actually exist on this planet.

Well The Hills is old news now - at least for me. One of the character in the show has decided to uproot her life and move to NYC when she got a job offer with Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF). The producers and MTV probably show $$$ signs when they heard of the news. So they offered and negotiated a new spin-off show for her. The show is call - The City.

There are 2 reasons why I've officially got hooked watching this show.

1) The City takes place in Manhattan - one of my favourite place to visit.
2) The main girl (W) works for one of the most incredible designer DVF - that means Fashion.

Oh-la-la!

Everytime the camera spans over the Manhattan skyline, I just keep remembering my visit last summer with my bf. This city never sleeps. People work hard; play hard. I love the ease of their transit/subway system. It reminds me of HK - MTR. Fast, clean and it takes me everywhere.

The show is on Monday night but I usually record it so I can skip the commercial. I watched the new episode last night and got my bf to sit on the same couch with me as he was doing something else. I think he secretly likes it but he won't admit it - LOL. Afterall, it is a mindless show but I just can't help it.
